What's the difference between a general and deep clean?+

A general clean is a light maintenance service — vacuum, mop, surface dusting, bathrooms and kitchen wiped down. Best for fortnightly or weekly upkeep when your home is already in good condition.

A deep clean goes much further — switchboards, skirting boards, windows inside, cobwebs, exhaust fans, grout cleaning, and detailed work in every room. Best for spring cleaning, pre-sale, post-renovation, or a thorough reset.

Our recommendation: If your home or apartment hasn't been professionally cleaned in over a month, book a deep clean. A general clean won't shift the buildup of dust, grime and grease that accumulates beyond regular maintenance. Once you've done one deep clean, regular general cleans are enough to maintain it.

How much does end of lease cleaning cost in Sydney?+

End of lease cleaning in Sydney with Clean Effortlessly starts from $289 for a studio. A standard 2-bedroom apartment ranges from $350–$420 and a 3-bedroom house from $480–$650 depending on property condition.

Do you guarantee my bond will be returned?+

Yes. If your real estate agent identifies any cleaning issues within 72 hours of the final inspection, we return and re-clean those areas at no extra cost. Our bond-back guarantee applies to every end of lease booking.

What's covered: anything on our standard end of lease checklist that wasn't completed to standard. What's not covered: property damage, unfinished landlord maintenance, or pre-existing wear and tear — these are not cleaning issues and would not be covered by any cleaner.

How long does an end of lease clean take?+

A standard 2-bedroom apartment typically takes 3–5 hours with 2 cleaners on site. A 3-bedroom house takes 4–7 hours. A 1-bedroom or studio is usually 2–3 hours.

The exact time depends on property size, how clean it is on arrival, and whether you've added carpet steam cleaning or extras. We always allocate enough time to complete the full checklist properly — we don't rush jobs or cut corners.

What's the difference between a deep clean and end of lease clean?+

An end of lease clean is designed specifically for empty properties at handover. It includes oven and rangehood degrease, inside cabinets, inside wardrobes, window frames and sills, and is backed by our bond-back guarantee. Furniture and bins aren't part of it because the property is vacated.

A deep clean is for furnished, lived-in properties getting a thorough reset — pre-sale, post-renovation, or seasonal spring clean. Deep cleans include furniture dusting and bin emptying, but don't include oven interior or inside cabinets (those are end of lease specifics).

Pick end of lease if you're moving out. Pick deep clean if you're staying or selling.

Do you bring your own cleaning equipment and products?+

Yes. Our cleaners arrive with all commercial-grade equipment — vacuum cleaners, mops, microfibre cloths, scrubbers — and eco-friendly cleaning products. You don't need to provide anything.

The products we use are safe for pets, children, and people with sensitivities. If you prefer a specific brand or fragrance-free option, let us know when booking and we'll accommodate.

Do you clean carpets and windows?+

Carpets: Carpet steam cleaning is an add-on service from $30 per room. Many tenancy agreements in NSW require professional carpet cleaning at end of lease, so check your lease.

Windows: Interior windows, frames and sills are included in our end of lease and deep cleaning checklists. Exterior window cleaning is available as an add-on. We can quote both when you book.
